Default Re: Wheel alignment / camber

I hit a concrete curb with the right front wheel hard enough to skin the rim up pretty good. I replaced the wheel with a new one then wanted a 4 wheel alignment check done. I'll make it short . The caster/camber was out a few degrees. It requires a special bolt kit that is obtained from Chrysler (or I have a hunch Mercedes as well) The kit has offet washers in it to perform the proper alignment. It costs about $80 if I remember correctly.

If I were you I would go to a Mercedes dealership and ask them to perform the work. They will be experts whereas the Chrysler people aren't usually. It took my crew all day to do a 2 hour alignment. They were learning as they unpacked the kit.

Good luck, Jim
