Re: Navigation Voice?
Some good advice follows.
Forget about anything to do with the kindergarten Nav system Chrysler installed in our cars--and to think they asked $1200 for this nearly worthless option!
Go to Costco (online) or Sam's Club and pay $200 for a Garmin 750. It accepts all of the latest in gadgets: iPOD, mem cards, Bluetooth etc and has a real MAP display included.
I prefer Garmin over Magellan because Magellan's tech support comes from India. They always want to argue and deny their unit could be defective. I tired of it! I recently retired two Magellan's needing $100 updates in favor of newer Garmin units that had the new updates installed or was available online for free.
We have 4 cars and 3 Garmin GPS so that means I shuttle the Garmin c550, with bean bag mount, from Crossfire to Crossfire. It's a quick and easy transfer and gives you a scant bit more windshield to see out of.
You will not be sorry if you follow my advice. You will likely learn some new curse words if you stick with the OEM Nav system.
