Default Re: Navigation Voice?

I don't agree with Cheap Ride at all. Who needs all that crap in their car? Ipod? I don't own one. I do have a Zune, but I only use it for video so I can watch Top/Fifth Gear on long flights. Memory cards? For what? Blue tooth? I drive a sports car, why do I need to be talking to anyone during a drive? And during those times when it's unavoidable, true bluetooth over the speakers in the crossfire would be more trouble than it's worth. I'd rather use an ear piece.

I've used the OEM nav a handful of times and only once did it let me down and that was when a street I needed wasn't on the Cd. Though it did save my rear once when I absolutely needed to be somewhere but I didn't trust the nav system to get me there so I used map quest. The directions looked good until they didn't get me where I needed to go and ended up getting lost. The oem nav got me on my way with no problem.

If you're the type of person who needs gadgety stuff with big screens, then yeah, the oem system will certainly disappoint. I will admit that I was initially disappointed because it didn't look as cool as the more modern systems. I got over it when I realized it actually works!
