Hello everybody, I am having a decent current draw, now that I have added an aftermarket headunit (don't think that has much to do with it), and a JL HD750/1 amp. I have never had to mess with alternators, but it seems like mine won't keep up with the current draw from my amp. I tried posting in the stereo section, with little help. I tried hid's which were suggested to help, now I have strobe lights. I tried a yellow top battery, helps with sound, but not with the lights. I measured the voltages before the better battery, and it was as follows: at rest, 12.4v, when started 14.4v, and when the system was hitting dropped below 12v's. I was using an analog meter while doing these tests, so I don't know how far below 12v's it dropped, but it was like a spike, too fast to read. Could my alternator be getting weak, or going out? Any help is greatly apreciated, thanks chris
