Plain and simple, the faster car is the one that runs the faster times. No ifs ands or buts. A car that runs 13's but traps faster than a car that runs 12's is still a 13 second car no matter how you try to fudge it. That car is slower than the 12 second car because the 13 second car runs 13's and the 12 second car runs 12's. You can make up all the excuses in the world but that car is still slower. Yes if it gets its traction control issues taken care of (if that is what is causing it to run 13's instead of 12's) then yes it will be faster but you can speculate all you want and you can say well if it had this or if it had that or if it could do this or if it could do that all day long but it will still be slower than the 12 second car.

Take your watch if it has a timer on it. Set it for 12 seconds and watch it count down. How long did it take? 12 seconds?

Okay, now for the tricky part. Take your timer and set it for 13 seconds and watch it count down. How long did it take? 13 seconds?

Now break out the calculator, subtract 13 from 12 and what do you have? 1? Now that is the number of seconds that the 13 second car is slower than the 12 second car.
