Default Re: Looking at Crossfires in the UK, any pointers

Yeah take your time to get a good one as there are a lot of cars with low mileage.
The wheels are over £500 each and a set of tyres will cost at least £600.
Be sure to check everything works especially the seat heaters as there has been many reports about faulty ones.
When driving the car check for wind noise from the side windows and check that the car tracks true.
Make sure it's got full service history and ask what kind of oil is used in the engine as it should have fully synthetic oil in it and even with low mileage cars the oil shoul get changed at least once a year and when your talking £100 for an oil change a lot of people might not get it done.
If you are after a manual gearbox be very careful to check you can get reverse easily and it dosen't jump out of first gear and it dosen't feel notchy.
Personally I would get an auto as they are better boxes and you don't loose any performance.
I could have bought a manual much cheaper than the auto but after reading about a lot of horror stories on here decided against it.

Oh and one last thing black is the fastest colour.
