Re: Eco/Green detailing
Some interesting stuff there, Thanks for sharing it. I've always tried to save water and time when cleaning my cars. I'm not a business, I'm an individual.
I blow dry my cars before towel drying. I was using 3-4 towels per car, I can now finish drying with 1 towel after blowing the excess off the car. This also eliminates a lot of the little leaks that appear after you have dried around certain spots. Less towels means less washing which means water savings.
I also use a nozzle on my hose. I try and find a rubber coated one so just in case it hits the car for some reason, the chances of leaving a mark are less. There are several schools of thought with regards to just rinsing with an open hose, it cuts down on the water that sits on the car. I think a hose that's left to run is a waste of water. Gonna keep my eye open for a nozzle that lets the water come out naturally but can be shut off in between soaping and rinsing.
Aside from that until someone can show me a personal steam cleaner.....
Juts wondering what the steam does to your wax/polish job?
I do wonder what Sal puts in the Zaino products I use, I fully expect my hands and fingers to fall off in the next few years!
