You can fish stuff through without removing the dash, but I don't believe there is any way to remove the glovebox completely on the new models without doing so.

I speak from experience - I removed pretty much everything but the dash in hardwiring my power seats and valentine one and the thing that stopped me from going further was the knee airbag unit - there's no way to remove the flexible panel that blows open when the airbag deploys - at least not that I could see.
