Hopefully you had unisnuserd motorist coverage. If I'm not mistaken it is a coverage you have to turn down. So if you did not turn it down, then you probably have it. Sorry for your grief, but the world can be a nasty place. Sounds like you made it ok which is a good thing. The car can be replaced. Good luck with your issue it really sucks.
