I don't have any issues with my gearbox at all. The 1-2 upshift felt a bit balky at first but I was coming out of a Miata and they are known for excellent gearboxes. The car now has just a bit over 8000 miles and the 1-2 shift feels fine now. Taking it easy or slamming it on the track, no issues. I don't even have a problem selecting 1st when the car is moving slowly forward, like when approaching a stop light that turns green just before coming to a complete stop. I've heard of others not being able to select 1st at that point, but I don't have that problem either.
