I sign every post the same and it reveals my position on manual shifters..

That said, I love driving my wife's SRT. The shift is crisp and as 007-M16 reports, you can control it well.

Everytime a V8 Mustang pulls up along side your NA stick shift, you'll regret having the stick. Out of the hole, the manual is clunky. At 219 HP the car has quick but not blazing acceleration. Yeah, most times you can run a respectable challenge and if your good, you can often win.

With the SRT, most of them don't even try. Just knowing that saves you a lot of tickets.

Given the narrow price difference right now, if I could only have one, I would go SRT.
