Default Stealership says S/C clutch not IC Pump???

My CF is at a DCJ dealer in Saint Louis right now, I brought it in originally to have the IC Pump addressed via my extended warranty (aftermarket) and told them that I was fairly certain this was the problem.

Get a call today stating that they insist it is the entire supercharger that needs to be replaced because the clutch isn't working??? The technician states that he was getting 200,000ohm across the clutch or something when it should be absolute zero according to Chrysler specs and this is what led him to believe I need a new S/C because the clutch isn't available separately from the S/C.

This part is 7000.00 and my warranty does have a maximum limit on covered repairs over the life of the vehicle, so if this sounds like B/S I'd like to call them on it. Supposedly my warranty DOES cover Superchargers but the adjuster is understably coming out to inspect things before okaying a 7000.00 wad of cash. Of course, my waterlogged power lock module in the trunk was DECLINED because the S/A mentioned that water got in

Does the S/C clutch ever actually go bad? The car only has 27000 miles!
