Re: Ready to mod, what should be the first 4?
My approach is in my sign, which is in order of install with corresponding 1/8 time. I had the cooling mods done last and noticed two things. First is an increase in boost; I reached 20psi but reliably touching19psi and holding strong in the upper 18psi range. Second is the retarding of heat; my first pass at the track prior to cooling was usually my best run, with all proceeding runs being worse. With the cooling mods, my first run may be the best and I could run it consistently all day.
Cooling is a necessity if going with a 185 or a stacked pulley, a benefit if going with the 181 and optional if going with a 178 or SC pulley.
Let us know which way you go; I’m always interested in other 6 setups.
