I had my intercooler and sensor replaced last fall after it began to fail. It would run fine, then lose power, then run fine again. It would cycle through this every 5-10 miles.
Did yours run intermittently or did it lose power completely? Or is this a proactive replacement under warranty?
The only caveat is with sales so low, it's awful tempting to come up with a $7k repair to make a little money for the shop. Especially when the bill goes to a 3rd party and not to mother Chrysler. Maybe it is worth getting a second opinion?
