It had a four barrel carb, a GMC three speed on the floor, an Oldsmobile rear end and XKE steering linkage. A friend of mine saw it blow off a GTO one night, and when he told me, I knew I just had to have it. The only tip offs were the sound and the larger rear wheels. I bought a small fortune in after market performance parts but had to sell them off when a college part time job wasn't enough to pay the bills. The car went next. I had dreams about building a Triumph Spitfire with a Ford 289, but that never happened. This is another reason I love my SRT6, same formula, small light car lotsa horsepower.
