I'm fine, the bumper did it's job and deformed in the collision, apart from that needing replacing and a cracked headlight, no other damage. I was probably only doing 5-10 MPH when I hit, hardly felt anything. The passenger in the other car banged his head slightly, presumably on the side window and the 10 year old Toyota Avensis came off worse. The whole of the nearside from the front wheel back is dented as he carried on sliding down the front of my car as he came to a stop, suspect that car may even be written off. I just hope the taxi passenger doesn't back down as my witness as he confirmed to me that the taxi driver just went straight through on red ,and help protect my no claims bonus and don't pay the excess..fingers crossed. Car is being collected Friday and should get it back next week, well at least all those stone chips will have dissapeared !!
