I called Royal Gate today and got some runaround when I asked if the tech, Jim, specifically checked the functionality of the IC pump, as I requested on the service order. I got the runaround on that, as well as when I asked if Jim was specifically trained by DC on the SRT6. "All our techs are trained" etc etc.

He asked me, "What, we diagnosed the problem and you don't believe me?" I again explained that I posted the issue on the forum and that everyone generally believed it was an issue separate from the SC itself.

I asked to speak to Jim personally but the service advisor Greg said he was busy.

He finally put me on hold and said he'd ask Jim if the IC pump was working, and he said it was. *shrug*

If I take the car now I'll probably end up being charged a couple hundred in diagnostic fees, so we'll see.

Btw, this car belongs to the OP. I'm his friend and the car's "caretaker"
