Whoa--not to hijack this thread, but I'm in Richmond, KY, so that makes four of us within 25 miles or so. As to the electricity issue, we did without for two days and the cable modem has been very spotty since the lights came back on night before last (I think I missed the net more than lights). We do have natural gas and a vent-free fireplace log set, so we could keep the chill off pretty well. As to ice damage, one big tree is down in the front yard (already cut up and piled by enterprising storm chasers) and significant damage to several others.

The Crossfire is holed up in the garage. I've not run it since driving back from Michigan where I bought it last week. This kind of weather is what Toyota pickups are for. It also helps that I'm retired and seldom have to leave the house except by choice.
