I don't know what getting an inch on a warm summer day has to do with it...
but I pay $700 per year for max coverage unlimited use for my SRT. It was AIG but is changing to Century 21.

I am now paying less than $500 a year for stated value ($23.5K) full coverage $250 deductible. Stated value means that you set what it's worth and if (heaven forbid) there is a total loss, you settle on that amount not what the 'book' says. I am very happy that I checked into this, as I just saved myself a whole lot of money and even better.... now the plates are on year round and if I get an inch on a warm Indian summer day (like today.. it's going to be sunny and 70* and it's November 6th.
