I'm running 16" E500 rims with Hoosiers 255/50-16. The stock E500 have a 42mm offset and I use 15mm spacers to reuse the stock lugs. Yes, it's the best setup. The overall diameter is the closest to stock diameter of any setup.

Discount tire sells the E500 replicas for around $100 each, unless you can find the real ones like I have. Very light setup. McCormack Tires on ebay sells the Hoosiers for $189 each shipped.
