I have mine at 35 psi when I race at the other track in town. It's on the other side and takes me about an hour to get there. I usually cruise about 70mph with no problems. I only race there about 6 times a year, so not driving there every weekend. My only concerns for you will be wear? Weather?
Wear? I treat my DR's with respect and absolutely never spin them on regular roads. These only come with 5/32" new. So I get quality runs only. When going for time records, I check weather conditions and figure DA and if it's not favorable I don't waste my time. My track is about 15 min at the most away, but regular driving shouldn't wear your tires too much. Just resist lighting them up on the way to the track.
Weather? I would hesitate to drive these in rain but I do remember SRTPowa saying he drove his hoosiers in the rain with no problems. Would be up to you, I've only driven in rain once with my car period.
