Sorry to say, but you are right "No plastic lenses" are covered with MaxCare. the only TSB I can find is for condensation:

And even that won't be covered after the 3/36 goes by. Are they good enough to polish out? With just elbow grease they can be made to look really great. Unless the problem is on the inside. I would take them out, do the wetsand and polish routine and see how good they are.

Just my two cents, but it may be worth a try?
