I've got an uphill S shaped driveway in the lake effect snow belt east of Cleveland and the first thing I do when trying to shoot the drive is turn the traction control off.

If I don't do that the rear brakes apply to the temporarily spinning rear wheels until they bring the car to a stop.

It's a shame the limited slip differential available on the automatics wasn't also provided on the manual transmission models.
