I did what others suggested & bought Mobil 1 (on sale) & a good filter, brought it to a regular mechanic who charged $25 to change everything out. The speedy oil change services charge the normal price for an oil change (about $40) even if you supply the oil/filter. Of course. I had to leave the car, coordinate with hubby for a ride to work & back, etc. I was all for the speedy oil change place, but it worked out.
