Re: Spoiler preference?
Personally, I like the base pop-up spoiler.
Being an old fart, I keep forgetting it's there, and The Whirr of the spoiler going up is a pleasant surprise, and I know that the good times are starting to begin. 100KPH is the door to where the fun begins.
It's like the car is smiling when the spoiler pops up.
I also like the way it stores away when you slow down. Many drivers behind me have gone out of their way to comment on how cool it is to watch the spoiler retract into the trunk area. Then the inevitable "what is it" questions begin. As I have de-Chryslered the emblems, it's somewhat a mystery. Although it says CROSSFIRE accross the rear.. an indication of the efficiency of the Crossfire advertising program.
And, yes I have the Karmann decal under the spoiler too. It just looks right there.
My 2c worth... probably 3c worth.....
BTW, I'm in Cabo for a few weeks recovering from Winter, and believe it or not.... the dollar, or my 3 cents is worth something here. The exchange rate went from 10 pesos to the dollar to 14 to the dollar. I'm surprised the dollar is worth anything anywhere...
Buy those German parts now guys, they aren't going to to get cheaper as the USD keeps diluting. I'm so old, I remember when a Billion Dollars was a LOT of money. Now it's just seed money.
Keep your spoilers up, and you SRT6 guys, Just keep smiling. You have a great reason to.
