Yeah, IF I used that "I deserve _____..." logic, you'd be correct. However, I don't, for two reasons:

1) I'm in the auto-industry, I'm realistic, and I'm respectful to those that work on my car. Period. As the PDC accounts guy, I hear horror stories of "pushy" customers. That will never be me.

2) I haven't been to the Benz dealership, because I've yet to own the keys to a Crossfire. So, try again. I'm saving my money with plans to pay cash for the SRT, when the planets align, because I think debt is dumb and I refuse to sink myself in monthly payments just for "bragging rights". When that day comes, doves will be released and life will be glorious. And I might just take a trip to the Benz stealership to put a toe in the water.

Like I said in my first post: if you have aftermarket/private-party warranty, and a silver tongue, you might glean some service from the MB dealership. If so, power to you. If someone employs similar diplomacy and careful warranty planning, they too can achieve your level of success.

But to simply issue a blanket statement of "It's a Benz, demand service" will lead many to disappointment.

There have been far more Crossfire owners leave a Benz dealership with their tails tucked, than those that have left with asses kissed.

My humble observation. I'm happy that you're the exception.
