Due to that heat, timing was pulled, mph was reduced, boost fell and it reflected in my ET. Those things happen on the 1/8 track but not as extreme, talking hundreds and not tenths. I’m going to go with colder plugs and Split coolant reservoirs too see how that helps.

I wonder what max temps are hit with the 178 or Code 3 pulley….. Based on your sign, that tune is killer !
Sometime before summer I'll go back to the 93 tune just because I plan to drive it more. It's officially a daily driver now. Today I drove it in the rain with stocks on of course. Only the 2nd time the car has been hit by rain since I've owned it. Now onto IAT's I don't log those, but would like to. I go off my needle and rarely hot lap. My problem is I can only log at test n' tunes, data loggers are illegal in my class so I don't use it in competition. I wouldn't do any cooling mods just yet. Just lay a bag of ice on the supercharger or spray chilled water over it. It cools in 10-15 minutes. At least good enough for the strip. Still stock plugs and wires too. No exhaust mods either.
