Default Re: Oil Change in N. VA

I live in the Hampton Roads area in Yorktown. I know this isn't N. Va, but I had to put in my 2 cents worth for S. Va. Bought our 2007 Roadster at Greenbriar Chrysler in Chesapeake (about a 45 minute drive south) in November 2007 for my wife's birthday. It was the only dealer in the area to have new Crossfires on the lot. The dealer has something called the "Southern Hospitality Program." Several items are included in the program, but the most significant are the
FREE oil changes and FREE state inspections.
Got the first change at about 3000 miles and was then told every 5000 miles or 6 months whichever comes first. After the second oil change 6 months later the service manager pointed out the FSS which tells when an oil change is due and that's when they will do it from now on as part of the Southern Hospitality agreement. He did cite the cost of the oil change which regularly would be $145 that they are doing for free. I couldn't really argue with him. Haven't had any other service issues to deal with yet, though.
