My problem is I can only log at test n' tunes, data loggers are illegal in my class so I don't use it in competition. I wouldn't do any cooling mods just yet. Just lay a bag of ice on the supercharger or spray chilled water over it. It cools in 10-15 minutes. At least good enough for the strip. Still stock plugs and wires too. No exhaust mods either.
I’m not knocking your times Cruzin because you did run them, respect; though your no closer to stock than me. I say this because you race with out your grill, on DR, on a 100-octane tune, with 100-octane gas, a mod y and manifolds. Then factor in icing the S/C, which is like icing the S/C when on a dyno for better numbers. I race with my grill, on street tires, on a 93-octane tune, with 93-octane gas, stock y and stock manifolds. Then factor, I never ice down the S/C. I have stock plugs and wires (for now) and a stock exhaust.

The more I look at temps with my 181, the more I believe cooling mods are a necessity. Specifically to limit how high temps rise compared to stock, S/C, or 178. As SRTpowa stated, he was seeing 105-113 with an isolated system in 95-degree heat with a 178. Where I’m seeing 160-170 in 70 degree weather with no isolated system, even with one I don’t think I’m going to see 105-113 under WOT. Just last night, it was 58 degrees and under WOT I hit 145 degrees.

I’m curious to know what your average ET is and not your best. Again, not trivializing your accomplishments at all, rather piecing the puzzle together. Please correct me if I’m wrong…
