The more I look at temps with my 181, the more I believe cooling mods are a necessity. Specifically to limit how high temps rise compared to stock, S/C, or 178. As SRTpowa stated, he was seeing 105-113 with an isolated system in 95-degree heat with a 178. Where I’m seeing 160-170 in 70 degree weather with no isolated system, even with one I don’t think I’m going to see 105-113 under WOT. Just last night, it was 58 degrees and under WOT I hit 145 degrees.
I think with a 178mm and WOT it is impossible to get IATs of 105-113 Degr.Fahrenheit, even with a split IC system,CM30 and LET HE ... IATs must be higher in my opinion.
