There could be any number of reasons: Abuse, a lemon, 2nd owner with previous abuse, or just how things happen...
But these cars are pretty well made. They are essentially a Mercedes benz under the hood with a unique design and a chrysler emblem. If you take care of them they will take care of you.
I havent owned mine long enough to probably validate everything as far as good or bad issues but for now I am happy and hope that you will be as well.
This forum has a lot of opinions and happy owners and a few unhappy. For the most part these are happy owners.
