"The grill is no lie, it does give an advantage. I'm sworn to it and have seen as much as a tenth decrease in times. Now that's with a NW intake, I doubt you will see the same with the SL intake. It may be worth a try though."

You know that all this talk has convinced me to look for the biggest highest flowing filter that will fit the Needswings intake. If its just for track days, who cares what it looks like? Or if it fits behind the grill. You should see the filter on my 300C. Its a monster. 4" unfortunately or I would use it. Has anyone tried this?
