They bought all the tools, went to the Mercedes class sessions, etc. But only 1 man can work on it because of the cars limited shop time. As to them not knowing the problem, thats true. When you have an engine with no history, you have to guess. The wrist pin going bad was it, because it make a rattle sound. Then the same pin went out again. Well maybe its the crankshaft out of round. They called me today to let me know that the block had problems. They took it to a machine shop to have it checked out. When I get it back, the entire engine will have been rebuilt, with a new short block, ($10,000) Heads were all redone, injectors replaced, etc. etc. You all will find out that these engines, cars, are not so easy to work on, and you have to go to a 5 star dealer for warrenty work. Not many around.
