With the sensor unplugged you have T/C turned off. This causes a loss of equality and the least loaded wheel spins. THis is the result of what is called an OPEN rear, there is no inherant balancing effort.

THe phantom grip I installed and Jim AMC( add 4 numbers) is an advocate of now, adds spring tension to pre load the cone gears to add DRAG between the two axle halves like the mercedes Kleeman design unit does. In a hard turn the wheels decouple and work fine as in my attempts to master autocrossing. See results of phantom grip below, NO T/C on.
