The E-Diff in the Crossfire is an open differential with braking done on the slipping wheel to restore torque to the other wheel.
There's no such thing as locking the diff "full time" as doing so would require that your brakes basically dissipate 1/2 the total energy output of the car at all times. Doing something like this would not involve "unplugging" anything, and would probably involve cooked brakes also.
Unplugging the brake sensor would do two things:
1. Your differential would become an open differential
2. Your ABS light would turn on.
