When storing any battery you need to have a battery tender added to keep the cells up. This prevents altzhihers in the cells called sulphating. For that reason I always use battery TENDERS NOT BATTERY CHARGERS. You dont eat the tenders and in turn they dont eat the battery with over charging, just a float charge.

I was losing all the mower batterys and 4 wheelers in a couple of years, started this and no more batteries to date. That is something and the cost savings are fantastic. Walmart has then for less than 20$.............
