I will be needing to purchase an extended warranty soon and was wondering if I should buy it from Chrysler or consider some other vendor? Being a woman who is not mechanically inclined, I have opted for them for every vehicle over the past seven years and have always purchased from Chrysler even though my late husband didn't believe in extended warranties. I certainly feel they have been worth the money. However, I was unaware you could purchase them from other sources until my last one ran out which generated lots of junk mail promoting the purchase of yet another warranty. I am considering one that covers all electrical. Is it worth the price and what is a reasonable price for one like that for this car? Can you negotiate the price from a dealer like negotiating for the car? I didn't find that the case before but wondered if that might be the case now in this economy.
