All-purpose tool & "hole in the trunk"
I'd like to thank everyone who responded to my questions on the intermittant wipers & headlamp switch. Thanks to x-fired on the recent post re: the "variable" speeds on the non-variable intermittant wipers.
I have two other questions. One is about a reference to an "all-purpose" tool located in the glove compartment per the manual. I cannot find one or any other tool in the glove compartment. Did anyone else find or have one delivered with their Crossfire?
While looking for this "tool", I also checked-out the storage area under the rear trunk mat. I found the tire inflation kit on the left. On the right, there is a rectangular hole about the size of a large multi-disc CD player. Is that what that cavity is for or should there be something there that I am also missing? I cannot find any reference to it in the manual.
I would appreciate your feedback.
I also sent DC an email through the co's "Customer Service" link off the Crossfire web site re the announcement of the Hi Performance model due out in May of 2004. I requested some additional information about pricing, whether or not is was intended to compliment or replace the existing vehicle and what impact it may have on the sale or market value of the existing vehicles.
The reply I received indicated that it was a "concept" vehicle & no details are currently available and that my comments would be forwarded on to the Product Planning Dept. Talk about a lame response. It's clear DC doesn't have its communication act together. I just hope DC has done a better job in planning the ultimate positioning and introduction of the NEW model as well as retaining the loyalty of the intial purchasers than has been indicated so far.
I still love the car!
