The seat heaters draw too much current when cold. I hold the button on until the light stays on. You will see each blink get longer as you hold it until it stays on. Works for me whenever it is below 20. Ten degrees is about 30 flashes, 15 degrees is about 20 flashes and 20 degrees is only a couple flashes. Or you can wait until your butt heats up the seat, about five minutes.
