I can easily answer this as i have the Cry02 system on my 3000GT. As stated, it sprays around you motor and not into it. I have the intercooler sprayer and 3 intake tubes to cool down the air after the turbos and before the throttle body. It is a big waste of money on a n/a car. No tuning is required though and it does provide a nice boost on turbo cars altough s/c cars haven't has as much luck since they dont generate as much heat (a few s/c mustang guys have tried it and been dissappointed). It makes the intercooler cold enough that ice forms on and water drips from the intercooler. This allows for the intercooler to further dissappate the heat and cool the incoming air thus making it more dense. The intake tubing frosts on the outside but after many sprayings and checking the tubing, water doesn't form inside the tubing.
And if you get it in your car, the co2 would be the least of your problems as you'd have a vacuum leak or unmetered air coming in from somewhere.
