From Denver you can make St Louis in 9 hours. Two in CO, 4 in Kansas and 3 in MO.

Lol, 9 hours might be pushing it a bit. I'd have to average about 90 miles an hour to cover the 810 miles!
What I will probably do is stay in Topeka or Kansas City on the 1st as I have relatives there and then drive out your way and make it to your area on Thursday evening. Thanks for the offer of lodging, but I have a boat load of Hilton points that I need to burn through and I snore a lot and loudly!
