Solved!!! and it was right under my nose literally. The elusive GY/YL wire is not where it is shown on the diagram. It is located in the other "thicker" bundle of wires on the right side of the passenger footwell. Actually, it is easier to access than the smaller bundle of wires I had been looking at.
Hey Blue did you put a volt meter on the wire and put your car in reverse to make sure thats the wire? When it gets warmer I'm going to check it out. Thanks
