Were the Hellas a direct fit? Part number and price would be helpful. A direct replacement with a louder horn is attractive.
I've been eyeballing some inexpensive air horns (< $40) which I used to have on a TR6 years ago, but have held off because I did not want to change from stock. I may look at just adding them in under the hood and wiring them in parallel with the existing horn.
