Having a data logger is useful to see the ignition, throttle position, boost, and several other things. It would give you a real time view into the engine operation. You can record everything and pull out the sd memory chip to scan it all on your computer, or simply have a passenger watch it on the display for you, safety first.............

Also Sadly, if I had the data logger sooner I would NOT HAVE INSTALLED GAUGE PODS. THe Zietronic and display is more complete and compact. BUT there is no way Iam gonna take out all the wiring, connectors, and sensors, did I mention connectors.........phew.
