My 2005 top seperated about a year ago. I had purchased an extended warranty for the car and it was fixed for FREE (Potamkin Chrysler in Miami, FL). The new top is $1,700, plus installation. There doesn't seem to be a way to reattach the old glass to the fabric.

The funny part is when I took it in to the dealership, I pulled in right behind another Xfire with, guess what...the window falling out! The service guy comes out and says "Can I help you?" and I said "Yes, I'll have what he's having!" I asked him how many has he seen and he said about I was the 5th in the last three months. I'd say that is a factory defect!

I had seen other posts from people in Florida who had this same problem so your comment about warm weather having a negative impact might be right on.
