Absolutely, I think I can get that kind of mileage out of this car, even though most times I drive
it like I stole it. With proper maintenance, care and feeding, this platform should last a very
long time.

I can certainly see your point about the cost of some (most) of the parts on this car, but I think
a lot of that goes to how one thinks about one's car. For me, a few thousand dollars to replace
a supercharger is cheaper than a couple of tens of thousands to buy a new car. As for the
failure of a major component like that totaling the car, at some point, I think that letting
someone else place a value on my car makes no sense. But, then again, I bought this car
to keep. I have no intention of ever selling it. So whatever value someone else may ascribe
means very little to me. So resale value, though important to many people, is not something
that I would be taking into consideration should a major component of the drive train fail.

My goal is to drive this car until the wheels fall off or the motor fails, and then get the wheels
repaired or install a new engine. To that end, I've already started a savings account where
I dump a bit of money each payday so that I won't have to worry about how I'll pay for those
repairs/replacements. I don't ever see myself using my SRT-6 as a trade-in.

Anyway, thanks for the well wishes. I'm gonna do my best to enjoy everyone of the next
69K miles
