Thanks for everyone's help, couldn't have done it without you guys .

Oh, and for future reference, there are little brass spacers around the two bolts holding the alternator in place - which were also somewhat holding the alternator in place after I had removed the bolts - all you need to do is use something to compress the spacer (I used a vise grip) and jiggle it around to loosen it.

If anyone needs help replacing the alternator on their NA Crossfire, I'd be more than happy to help! Need to return the favor .
