I had dreamed of law school throughout undergrad, and banked on getting accepted to one school. I nearly killed myself stressing over the LSAT, and took it the day after returning from deployment. I didn't get the score I wanted, but it was good enough. When I was accepted, I told my National Guard family, but since I was an employee at a competing school, I couldn't couldn't tell anyone at work. It drove me crazy!
Oops, I forgot to mention: The graduating class was one short three years later. (That's good news for Franc, I'm sure.) Two weeks into my L1, I was deployed again, and had to drop out.
