I had dreamed of law school throughout undergrad, and banked on getting accepted to one school. I nearly killed myself stressing over the LSAT, and took it the day after returning from deployment. I didn't get the score I wanted, but it was good enough. When I was accepted, I told my National Guard family, but since I was an employee at a competing school, I couldn't couldn't tell anyone at work. It drove me crazy!
That is kind of where I was fortunate. I didn't stress about the LSAT, and didn't study for more than a month. I was very fortunate to the get score I did, which wasn't breaking any records but wasn't bad. If I had studied more thoroughly I probably could have set my sights heigher but I'm very satisfied with this particular school. The test definately makes one nervous, and gets your stomach in knots. I felt like my brain was put through a wood chipper upon finishing.
Also, I can't tell anyone in my workplace due to the fact that I'd be leaving here in the fall if I accepted a position at the school. That would put my place of business in quite the predicament. I do wish I could tell several of my good friends here though.
I can just share with my good friends here though!
SRT6nTulsa, hope to meet you at the Tail of the Dragon this April. I live in Maryville just outside of the dragon and hope to make it (finally).
