Default Re: Ultimate Roadster Mod...

It would have helped if one of you guys had given me a link to this forum I had to run through the Google gauntlet and guess as to which site was hosting the members emailing me

Anyway, I'll try and recap what I mentioned to Tony in my email, as well as add in a few things...

I'm an electrical engineer by trade, but the dot com and telecomm bust of the late 90's and early 00's put a serious hurtin' on me. So, long story short, I decided to take some of my pet projects off of the drawing board and offer them up to the masses.

The lighted windscreen was the first to hit the market, albeit in an unofficial sense. It has gone through several versions since its introduction, beginning with a controller that required a screwdriver to adjust the color content, to its current digital form. The latest release allows smooth color cycling displaying the entire rainbow of colors, turns red when you hit the brakes, white when you place it into reverse, etc.

As I mentioned to Tony, the install was somewhat application specific with each install being unique to the vehicle (I have instructions online for the S2000 and 350Z). This creates a logistical nightmare for me, so I tend not to push that specific product very hard. Since I never took it into full production, the controller case is a hand-cut project case that fits in the palm of your hand. However, I still have a large number of controllers on hand, and I will warranty them the same as any production unit I would sell. Fair warning, though... installation can be anywhere from a 2-8 hour affair... it all depends on how easy your car is to crack open.

Some of my other products (and cool pics) can be seen on our website:

We're not "official" until November 2nd (when our print ads hit the news stands), and the e-cart is still under development. I've successfully done business for well over a year, though, using PayPal nd Cashier's Checks... so far, ALL business has come by word of mouth. I'm happy to say, as far as I'm aware, there is not a SINGLE unhappy customer out there. Problems are resolved promptly, and feedback is always welcome.

The Minis are a product we have on hand and ready to ship, with the remaining products scheduled to be ready by the time we go public. The Minis are ideal for lighting up really tight areas like door handles, maplight replacements (I offer Socket Modules that allow you to simply remove your stock bulb and snap in a Mini, no wiring or soldering required), A/C vents, trunks, etc. They measure less than 1.3" x 0.6", are only 0.25" thick, and they're so bright you won't want to look at them directly even in bright sunlight (I'm going to need eyeball replacements before I hit 40 from all of my accidental exposures ).

Anyway, I'll try to check back on this forum from time to time (especially over the next few days as I know question will come up), but if you have any specific questions, feel free to email them.
